I'm A Grits Atheist

When I was a child, I grew up around people that believed in grits! They believed grits were yummy, healthy, filling, the perfect food.  But I didn't really care for grits myself.  I tolerated every one's love of grits through out childhood, quietly letting my disdain for grits simmer and grow.  As I got older and began making my own adult choices, I tried to tell people that grits weren't really all that great, and you would not believe how I was treated for having such a point of view.  So, one day I decided I no longer believed in grits.  They don't exist!  The containers all hold something else entirely!  If they existed then why wouldn't EVERYONE love them, right?  And I don't love them, so what is in the boxes can't be grits.
As I went about my life, I noticed there were grits everywhere.  Every grocery, gas station, restaurant, everyone has what they call "Grits".  But I know they don't exist so it offends me that I have to see "The Lie" everywhere.  So, I will demand that all Grits containers be removed from my local stores and restaurants.  But if I travel, then I will again have to be offended, so I will get Grits removed from ALL places, just in case.
If by chance that doesn't work, I will take care of corn, since "Grits" are made from corn, that's part  of the lie, so I will also have corn removed.  Since Farmer's Markets ALL sell corn, maybe I should have them all shut down, just in case.

Now that I have all possible reference to the lie of "Grits" maybe everyone will agree, they don't exist.
You should be a Grits Atheist Too!!!!

3 Kinds of Christians -- Day 1

Preppers *  Storm Chasers *  Copacetics

1.  Preppers:

     * These are the people that have a good daily devotion and prayer life, very close to God, and when God is being good, they are the first to praise Him daily.

     *  Usually has flexible schedule, easily fits prayer/ devotion into most every day.

     * Usually very organized, in control person.

     *  Sometimes, however, they forget to "praise Him in the storm",  find it very easy to praise daily, UNTIL things begin to get stressfull and tough.  These people need to be reminded that He is still in control, especially when things are not "perfect".

     *  If you are one of these type people, try to remember, God DOES know what He is doing.  Especially when it seems like not so much.  If you are NOT one, try to encourage those around you that are.

Thanks for joining me, and I promise, this is going somewhere very cool.  Tomorrow-  Storm Chasers
